Try Snorkeling and Scuba Diving in Puerto Rico!

"We are both certified divers, but we wanted to have our 15 year old do a discover scuba course to try it out. We booked a discover scuba course for him and certified dives for us. The training they gave him was easy to follow and not too tedious. Then we headed to Crash Boat Beach and all did a dive together. Our dive master did a great job helping him to learn to use all the equipment and the diving was fantastic. It was the perfect dive for a beginner and we really enjoyed it as well. Crystal clear water, great visibility and tons of sea life. I highly recommend Aquatica Underwater Adventures in Aquadilla if you want to try out scuba and see if it’s for you or if you’ve been certified for years!"

"We did two dives and I was impressed with his attention to safety and detail and also making it really fun. He has a great laidback vibe and you also feel like you’re in. Capable hands. For sure would recommend for any level of diver. We did Crash Boat which had great visibility. A shallow dive great for beginners but fun for the more experienced, too, with lots of little swim throughs. El Natural is more advanced because it is deeper and that day had a strong current. Damien led us in a really safe manner even with a little extra work going against the current. We saw turtles, rays, eels, octopus, crab, and tons of starfish to name a few."

"I came with a group of 7, 6 of which were beginners, myself open-water certified, to do the discover scuba course. Everything went great! Josue was welcoming, lighthearted, funny, but took safety very seriously. We had a few nervous ones in our group, and Josue/Gina took extra time to try to help them. The dive is at Crash Boat Beach, with an artificial reef from a crashed pier. They also took pictures of our group underwater, no extra charge!"

Especially if you are looking to dive with dive scooters or learn how to safely and properly hunt lionfish. This was my first experience with both. Damian made the dives unforgettable. By far the best time I’ve had diving in PR. Without their expert advice and guidance on local dive conditions I could have easily been at risk of landing myself in a dangerous dive situation. "This Dive shop has made my trip to Puerto Rico unforgettable. The staff are fun, kind, and most importantly knowledgeable of what their shores have to offer. Being a PADI instructor I planned to get pointers about all the shore dive locations and just go with a dive partner. But once I heard Damian speak I knew I wanted him to guide me around the island shores. He’s extremely knowledgeable and points out all the things my eyes weren’t trained to see in Puerto Rican waters. This was especially important when it came to the currents. If he wasn’t guiding my dive partner and I on a certain dive we would have probably ended up out at sea being rescued by the coast guard. He was also amazing on the DPV tour and lionfish hunt. A must but expect to want to buy a scooter after. Beyond that, josue was amazing at putting us in contact with other dive operations that would provide experiences that weren’t part of Aquatica’s normal operation. As a dive professional I highly suggest you go through Aquatica for your dive experiences… if they don’t provide it they will happily point you in the right direction."
